I want to open my own clinic in Nigeria. My medical degree will give me the skills I need to help others, and my business background will allow me to make financially sound decisions when running my business. I want to be able to give back to the country that shaped me into the person I am today. Nigerian culture has influenced almost everything I say and do, from the way I eat to my study habits. Nigeria taught me that anything worth doing is worth doing well, especially when it comes to school. Education is at the forefront of many Nigerian homes. This is why I take my studies so seriously. I know how important education is and all the opportunities it creates for me. It would be a shame for my country and myself if I did not educate myself and give back to my home. There is so much work that can be done in the country and I want to help bring Nigeria to its full potential. Nigeria has gone through many situations in recent years, such as corruption in government, sectarian tensions and violent attacks. However, Nigeria has so many opportunities to grow and I want to help it do so. The media tends to only show the negative aspects of Nigeria, but rarely the positive ones. It is known as the Giant of Africa because it is the most populous country in Africa and for its thriving economy. It is in these positive areas that I want to help my country.
