If I learn to deal with programmed problems I will be able to solve routine problems that occur in the workplace. Understanding how to make non-programmed decisions will allow me to resolve judgment problems that arise. Another way this topic can improve my work life is through the practice of rational decision making. I need to be able to evaluate the best options for my decisions. Knowing how to make rational decisions is a key factor in being a good leader. For example, at work, if we tap a certain beer, I have to look at my possible options and be able to mentally decide which one would be best for the company. A third is that my work life can benefit from learning rational decision making by recognizing the advantages and disadvantages of group decision making. By having knowledge of the possible pros and cons of using collaborative decisions, I can know when to use this action or not.
