Topic > Euthanasia: when the pain of death exceeds the pleasure...

The way we die will not always be easy. Life chooses to end when the body simply cannot complete the task of functioning. The end of life is always the same, whether it is a terrible accident or parts of the body not being able to perform the tasks they are designed for, the body dies. Sometimes the body does not shut down all at once when death comes, and in some cases the body dies slowly and painfully. The thought of a slow, painful death can lead you to think about alternatives to this type of ending when the time comes or if a tragedy occurs that prevents the body from functioning. The fact is that death comes no matter what the person does, and there should be some choice as to how long a person must suffer before the event occurs. The modern medical field has made numerous advances in caring for individuals who are terminally ill and who will die no matter what is done for that person, this is true, but there is another alternative. Euthanasia is the alternative that could be administered to a dying person so that his pain is not slow and his death is not prolonged. The death of the person is inevitable and its prolongation is something that must not happen with the use of lethal drugs. The alternative to suffering this long and painful death would suggest that euthanasia is the right choice. When death is unavoidable, euthanasia provides a safe alternative to a painful death and should be a common medical practice because it will end the individual's suffering when nothing else can be done. When death is inevitable, the person may or may not experience extreme pain after a terminal diagnosis is given by the doctor. A person always has the right to get a second opinion from any other D...... middle of paper ......as has been accepted then it should be a person's right to die, even in religious matters, if the person subjected to euthanasia believed they were ready to do so. Furthermore, religious followers do not base their ideas about euthanasia on science and cannot support religion in any scientific way that can be proven. A reform bill to ensure the legalization of euthanasia may not pass, but the evidence indicates that it will benefit millions of people. Looking at the facts and arguments in favor of euthanasia it is suggested that it could help simulate the healthcare sector and create jobs. The bill would not only provide jobs and grant people the right to die, but it would help people get coverage from insurance companies who actually want to live. Euthanasia has many different benefits for the people of this country and should be practiced to end the suffering of those who have accepted death.
