Labeling in this way attracts emotions that can be perceived as distorted. In that case the author's personal opinion shone through a little too clearly. Later, discussing why the court made the decision it made in Buckley v. Valeo, the author stated: “So, although the Court made the right decision, it did so for the wrong reason.” (Simpson, 2013) Allow some emotion to shine through while illustrating your point, but not in a way that is overwhelming or could be perceived as biased.
