First, women under the age of 18 – 29 would prefer the open-faced burger because they won't have to open it to add more toppings compared to the closed-faced burger they must open it and after adding other condiments close it again and then eat it. Secondly, as shown in (figure 4) more than 90% of all female population does not like mustard in hamburger because of the name mustard looks masculine and also tastes tasty (2). As shown in (figure 4) more than 35% and 40% of males and females respectively like ketchup as a condiment while eating hamburger. People in the United States love ketchup because it contains antioxidants and high levels of vitamins A, C, and E (3) (6). Now, according to the objective of the research, that is to understand how burgers are served in fast food restaurants and its effect on brand image and sales. Second (Figure 1), which shows the numerical value for whether people (male or female) would prefer open-faced or closed-faced burgers. Of the overall population, 87.50% of men and 75% of women would prefer the hamburger to be opened face down before eating it, while on the other hand 12.50% of men and 25% of women women would prefer the hamburger to be face down before being eaten.
