The people who come to the United States are Mexicans and reside in states like California, Texas, Florida, or New York, which are the big states with lots of opportunities. Only 30% of Americans have passports and the interaction between people crossing the border and those already living here is ongoing (Sreedhar). Americans are learning about different cultures from people crossing the border and this is teaching Americans to become more knowledgeable firsthand about other cultures.
