Religion is one of the greatest forces that helped me become the person I am today. When I was only five years old, the Dordorim Temple taught me to pray and introduced me to religion and I have been a devout member of my temple ever since. I truly appreciate the ability to communicate with God through prayer, because I believe it is a very powerful phenomenon that has been a part of my life. Reading the Torah and all the prayers made me believe things I never thought I would believe. Being able to celebrate a bat mitzvah has matured me. It was such an important milestone in my life that I will never forget. Reading the Torah made me feel so powerful and so true to my religion. Kabbalah (an esoteric method, discipline, and school of thought that originated in Judaism) which teaches that until the age of 13 for boys and 12 for girls, we are primarily aware of our body and its needs . I believe our reality begins and ends with what we see in front of us. Word of Weston's well-managed growth has created one of South Florida's most desirable communities, both residential and business.” For me, Weston was a wonderful, safe place to grow up, don't get me wrong, but it's almost like living in a bubble. Weston made me the person I am today through all the different culture and diversity we have here, but it didn't really show me what life is really like in the real world. Everything here is almost too perfect. Weston hasn't shown me the challenges of life because she's almost too safe and exquisite. Weston raised me into an independent young woman and made me extremely family oriented. I'm grateful to have lived in a beautiful, safe place like Weston, but I feel like I have this mentality of such a perfect place and when I get further in life, it will be difficult for me to fit in anywhere else. Living in Tallahassee will be difficult at first, like adjusting to a new place and being away from my family. Now I will have to learn to live on my own and I will need to become a successful person on my own. But this is a good thing. I will discover more things about myself that I never knew and I will continue to have the same ethics and values. But I will acquire more because it is a different culture here.
