After listening to the piece it seemed to me that it had some connotations. The feeling that comes from the song is certainly exciting. It also has an intimate feeling though. One that I think reflects Posdnicheff's wife's feelings towards the violinist. While it's hard to say whether or not she loves that man, she definitely enjoys spending time with him, and the piece they practice during that time reflects the relationship itself. I think this is important for Posdnicheff because it's a situation he can really learn from. His wife doesn't seem to care about anything to do with him. Their relationship is on the rocks and according to Posdnicheff their children don't even make his wife happy. Posdnicheff, as I said before, believes that relationships are just an excuse to have sex all the time. But his wife's report seems to indicate otherwise. The violinist enjoys spending time with Posdnicheff's wife. After listening to Posdnicheff's theory on the uselessness of marriage and reproduction, the human being came to mind
