Contemporary key design is all about simplicity; the meaning of all this is how technology, art, design and power influence the public? How can technology be reliable and what makes it easier to communicate with it? How does technology evolve with more features and at the same time being simplistic? John Maeda is a Japanese-American graphic designer, computer scientist, and president of the Rhode School of Design. His practice is about design, technology, art and power and explores how each sector relates, combines the others and transforms that form into simplicity. Within these four main themes, Maeda's analysis is to keep it very simple, it helps consumers understand with less complexity but the complexity will always remain intact. In other meanings, for example, products will never be perfect, as they continue to grow and improve features, this category falls under technology and also how it affects society will be described. Technology (Maeda, Ted, 2012) The explanation of this graph is how Apple technology has been used, what is the reflection of the design which has been improved over time. In 1980-1982 the original Apple computer had visual text with a built-in keyboard, although it was noticeably slow compared to today's computers. In 1983-1984 Apple announced another computer with graphics and text in the user interface, it became more visual than textual itself, it is more manageable and less difficult for the user to interact. Four years in advance audio was integrated into the system, which allows users to listen to the same 8-bit audio or a long with 2D animation images. As the future progresses, computer technology has been updated and has more hardware components to work efficiently and with a lightweight design. For example, AMD released a 3.2GHZ 1090T CPU processor, six months later it released another 3.4GHZ 1100T CPU. Now, comparing both processors, not much has changed and there is no point in buying the AMD 1100T for £30 more. AMD seems to be lacking in architecture design; essentially a company should focus on the CPU core that communicates with the video card, smoother ram memory, and no system lag issues. It can multitask like rendering videos, playing video games with good frame rate, etc. The idea of the flow is that technology should focus more on design architecture rather than increasing the specification, waste of a product and its precious price.
