I also worked with my brothers in the construction, mainly helping them put up the walls, prepare the surface, and paint. Also, in December, my father and I go to Michoacán, Mexico every year to work on my grandfather's ranch, knowing that it is the time to harvest beans, corn, and gather grass and hay for the animals. At the end of the month we mark the avocado trees that will need to be harvested the following month. In addition to working within the family, I also help the church community by volunteering to help sell at special events, but if a subgroup needs help I sometimes help them too. Also, during high school, I read and acted out children's stories at a book festival about Mexican culture. An achievement I cherish has to be the first academic metal I received during elementary school for being student of the year, even though it was my first year as a student. I am still proud of the result because it represents all the hard work I put in, this award was given to students who worked hard, were helpful and kind, so receiving this award was an honor
