Since we are creating our own source of energy, we become less dependent on other countries for natural gas. We are also using this gas to power our homes and cars, which releases fewer carbon emissions than coal and promotes better living conditions. However, in the future, we can also use this method to become better exporters and reduce the debt we owe to other countries. Although fracking has become a worldwide problem due to the increase in unethical drilling methods practiced by companies and the harmful effects it has on the environment, in the long term it is helping our overall economy. This supports my claim that we should continue to use fracking as a method of extracting oil in order to obtain this natural resource. So the real question will be addressed in the next steps: should oil companies and fracking industries continue to support
