The music industry is an ever-changing world that continues to perplex many artists and fans. The changes witnessed by this industry from the 1960s to the 1970s, when music was at its peak, are significant and cannot be ignored. Over the next few years, many people lost interest in music and, conversely, many others developed a deep affection for the new type of music. There are many people who claim that the music industry hasn't changed since its heyday, which is completely false. The music industry has changed dramatically in every way since it flourished in the 1960s. Arguments in favor of the general concern The music industry has witnessed changes in all matters related to music. From style to composition, today's music industry is not the same industry that belted out those glorious old-time hits. The changes have also affected the way society perceives music. Society has been forced to devour low-quality music and accept it as the standard benchmark of good music (Merriam 67). One of the main reasons could be due to the fact that new generations grow up surrounded by this new music every day. They have no choice but to accept it as the ordinary sound of music and that doesn't make it a good excuse to produce garbage. Style The musical style perpetuated today by the new generation of artists is completely different from that of past generations. The modern artist is mostly superficial in the style he chooses, and only a handful pay attention to the style he wishes to practice. The new artist finds himself unable to stick to a particular type of music, with many artists choosing to try different styles. Unlike 50 years ago, when artists dedicated themselves to pursuing a specific musical style and became connoisseurs of these styles.
