Topic > All the President's Men by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward

The book I chose to read for this assignment was All the President's Men, by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward. The book was about the biographical accounts of two Washington Post reporters and how their investigative journalism played an important role in solving one of the biggest political scandals in American history. Being a history buff, I was happy that the book was on the selective reading list that we could choose for this assignment and before I even read a page I was sure that I would like the book. I already knew something about Watergate and was eager to take the opportunity to learn more, especially from the two people who played the main role in bringing the whole scandal to the surface. I had already seen the movie and knew from past experiences that movies leave out so much information when they are based on a book, so I knew I would get all the details from the authors that I had missed before. I'm not the type who likes to read and it always ends up being a struggle for me to read an entire book, but this book ultimately wasn't like pulling teeth. Reading the book turned out to be just the opposite, enjoying it so much that it was difficult to put it down, not only because I was fascinated by the information provided, but also because of the straightforward way in which it was presented..
