Animal House is a staple of college life, even though it's been more than thirty years since its release. Being able to relate to students of different generations is the main reason why this film was so successful. Animal House began with a budget of three million dollars, which was low even for 1978, and ended with a total gross domestic revenue. just over one hundred and forty-one million dollars.
