In America, teenagers are taught not to question or oppose what is happening in the world. Schools take away teenagers' First Amendment rights by not allowing them to have free speech and express their opinions. The education given to them is censored and limited, not allowing them to see and know the truth behind everything. In this way, adolescents are raised to become blind like the current generation of adults. The American people fail to see the country as it truly is. This generation of teenagers represents the future of this country and will soon depend on you as leaders. The system prevents students from passing standard education and does not allow them to achieve exceptional skills. The quality of education is in crisis; part of the reason for this crisis is the unconstitutional limitations imposed, including restrictions on religion. Religion in schools is prohibited. Students are prohibited from praying because it is deemed unconstitutional to share individual beliefs in schools. Students' right to religious exercise and expression is intrinsically important to forming bonds with one another (Religion in Public Schools 1). Removing religion means removing unity and common beliefs among students. Imagining that taking away religion is like taking away pep rallies. Schools organize pep rallies so that students can come together to create unification among themselves. Religion does the same and yet it is not allowed. Because the school does not teach religion, it may give students the false impression that people's religious traditions are not significant or important.
