MOLDINGMoulding can be defined as the manufacturing process by which a liquid or flexible raw material is given a particular shape using a rigid frame called a mould. A mold is a hollow box made from a model During processing a mold is filled with raw materials such as plastic, glass, metal etc. The liquid cools in the mold and becomes harder, taking on its shape.TYPES OF MOLDINGInjection moldingFoam moldingExtrusion moldingCompression moldingBlow moldingMarixPlastic moldingMore assisted vacuum moldingINJECTION MOLDINGDEFINITIONIt is a process for giving a particular image to a ductile raw material by injection into a mold. It can be performed with multiple materials, including metals, glasses and thermosetting and thermoplastic polymers. To achieve the required shape, the material is first heated, mixed and injected into the mold cavity where it cools and becomes harder. Usually the products are made by engineers, but the molds are made by a mold maker from metals such as steel or aluminum. Today it is widely used for the production of entire automobile body panels. PROCESS Requires a screw plunger to inject the molten plastic material into the mold cavity. This solidifies into a shape in the mold. It is used to process both thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers. characteristics that make them highly suitable for injection molding, such as the property of being recyclable. this property helps them to be used anywhere, also helps the property to soften and flow evenly from heating. If a thermoset polymer is not ejected from the injection barrel in a timely manner, chemical cross-linking can occur causing binding of the screw and control values and potentially damaging the inserts... into the center of the paper... freezes and the material flows along a central channel. As the core material enters, it displaces the skin material to the center of the canal pushing the skin forward. 2-SHOT INJECTION MOLDING This technology produces a part with two different raw materials or colors in a single operation. The machine has two injection units: one vertical and one horizontal. Using the rotating support, the machine automatically produces a substrate of one color and overlays the part with the second color. FUSIBLE CORE INJECTION MOLDING It is used in the production of molded components with cavities or undercuts, which molding is not possible with tools with removable cores. RAPID INJECTION MOLDING Rapid injection molding allows us to make prototypes of injection molded parts in one thermoplastic resin production in 2 weeks. These parts can be used for fully functional and fit fasting as well as for trial marketing.
