If no one wants to help the community, then it won't be a great place for people to live. There is something to do for everyone. Barack Obama, President of the United States, states, “I ask you to look for opportunities when you leave here, because the future of this country, your future, depends on it” (633). You can't expect things to go well if you don't help in any way. If you want to live in a good community, then you have to help out in any way you can, you don't have to do the hardest things possible, you just have to be a little helpful to the community. I understand that not many students have a lot of time between all the school they have and if they have a job, but they can find time to volunteer once a month or once every three months just something that could help out. If students are to do volunteer work, I believe they should be able to choose what they want to do and what they are interested in doing. If they are assigned something, they will not want to do it and will not make the effort to do it
