This will help the teacher know which periods have the most misconceptions and which periods the students know about. This will only be assessed upon completion. Formative Assessment: A number of formative assessments are used. The first is the list created on the first day after reading the passage along with student participation in sharing the findings the next day, on the second day. Student participation on the sixth day, sharing their own work and writing a peer's work, will be used for formative evaluation. All of these are graded on accuracy and completion and will be worth five points each. Summative assessment: the summative assessment will constitute the document to be delivered on the sixth day.
