At first I thought it was too much and too much too fast. Personally, it took me a long time to figure out where to put the standards in my lesson plans, unit calendar, and what exactly they are. The other thing I didn't like was the lesson plan. I thought they were too difficult to assign so early in the semester because most of us didn't know what was considered a proper lesson plan or unit calendar. I think it would have been more prolific if we had gotten examples of properly done lesson plans or unit calendars that showed what was required. The other thing that should be improved is the amount of class time dedicated to correcting errors in our lesson plans and unit calendars, whether through group discussions or one-on-one meetings with faculty.
