Introduction: The idea of biofuels is an ancient concept, dating back to the late 19th century. Solid in concept but flawed in presentation. Biofuels are an alternative energy to fossil fuels obtained through natural methods such as plants and crops and are key to solving the apparent shortcomings of fossil fuels. While fossil fuels have been in use for over a century, biofuels have now become popular and have been exposed to the press. At one point biofuels were considered by some of the brightest minds in human history such as Henry Ford and Rudolph Diesel who believed that biofuels had the potential to be the next evolution only to reappear a century later. Now the world faces difficulties related to global warming and depletion of fossil fuels which are slowly easing day by day. Over the last century biofuels have proven to have a place in our society as a new alternative fuel source. Specializing in being natural and healthier than fossil fuels, biofuels have had a rocky start compared to the competition due to key situations such as prices, side effects and fuel energy. However, the idea was passed on to subsequent generations and continued to spread and prolong use. However, over the past decade, they have been widely publicized by politicians and government officials, claiming that they represent the future of a powerful working society and that they help create a new energy-free world. By conviction Some even argue that “by 2050, a new generation of sustainable biofuels could provide more than a quarter of the world's total transportation fuel, according to a recent report from the International Energy Agency” (surname). With such improvement biofuels should be the obvious answer to provide a better future to...... middle of paper...... its shortcomings have many advantages such as the renewability of biofuels where they allow unlimited resources, the growth economic and slow decline Dependence on foreign oil and, above all, overall healthier effect on the environment than fossil fuels. These key advantages are just as important to remember as their flaws. This is what science has achieved, a new world of possibilities and a vision of a new world with a new category of energy. Researchers continue today to further expand their already existing knowledge about biofuels to find better solutions to the problems at hand (The Flaws) and with this demonstrates the promise of a truly innovative fuel source. With this promise, scientists have begun to find new products to make biofuels even superior to those that still exist, in order to eliminate potential and existing problems.
