The bin is full of dirty items and a pile is starting to form on the floor. The carpet in my room is no longer off-white; it is now dotted with an array of colors. After a week and a half it happened again: it's time to do laundry. My mother finally decided it was time for me to learn how to take care of myself and do my own laundry once she got tired of picking up my dirty clothes scattered around my room. Now that I do all of your laundry, I feel like it's my responsibility to teach you so that you can become as skilled as me. The first step to successfully completing your laundry is to gather as many items of clothing as you can. If you're not sure whether it's clean or dirty, always assume it's dirty and wash it anyway. For me, picking up laundry includes my hamper, my floor, and the bathroom. It is not necessary to carry all your laundry by hand, although some prefer it.
