An Early Education Solution: Improving K-12 Education The more unequal the United States education system grows, the more our poverty line will struggle. Most people believe that hiring tutors or staying long hours after school will help, but they don't realize that all of this can be avoided if every child is given the opportunity for a low-cost early education. A universal early education program would help improve school grades, keep families connected and hope for a better future. If all children attended early education, every child would start at the same level and it is vital that this is done. a child to be at the same level as his other classmates. Having all children at the required level means less space for a shy child in the classroom. For example, if a quarter of the children in a classroom attend an early education program, they will most likely be more advanced than other children. In that case, children without early education may feel inadequate and discriminated against most of the time because other children will be at a higher level than them. For this reason, the federal government had to create the No Child Left Behind reform. Lane Kenworthy mentioned in his book, Social Democratic America, that No Child Left Behind reform is helpful, but it does not improve schools in any way. The reform does not benefit all children; returning to the classroom with a quarter of the children who attended an early education program, the children within that quarter will be stuck at the rest of the grade level. Those one-quarter children won't be able to move forward until other students catch... half the paper... they're unreasonable, but if we think about how much our government spends on programs designed for educational problem, it would mean a significant savings of money. Consider this, we have many problems within the school system, such as children who are held back, teenagers who have no desire to graduate, and dropouts. An early education program would solve these problems and give children the incentive to continue their education. Children are the future of our country's economy; The government and citizens of the United States absolutely must invest more in children's education. Having just a high school diploma is no longer enough; jobs now require a college degree. Providing an early education program throughout the United States is the most helpful thing our country can do to ensure improvement in all K schools-12.
