A day no American present during that time will ever forget. The day the United States was attacked by a foreign terrorist group known as Al-Qaeda. Their attack plan was to hijack the planes and use them as weapons to crash into US monuments. Two of the hijacked planes were en route to New York City for their designated targets: the World Trade Center (Story, n.d.). At 8:46, the first plane makes its impact on the north tower killing everyone on board and hundreds of people inside the building (Story, n.d.). At 9.03am, the second plane crashes into the south tower, confirming that the country is under terrorist attack (History, n.d.). The third plane was on its way to Washington DC with its final destination: the Pentagon (Story, n.d.). The collision occurred against the western wall killing 59 people on board the aircraft and 125 inside (Story, n.d.). The fourth plane, however, did not arrive at its destination. After hearing about the attacks in New York and DC, passengers took action to regain control of the plane from the hijackers (Story, n.d.). The plane crashed in a field in Somerset Country, Pennsylvania and, unfortunately, killing all 40 passengers on the plane (Story,
