Australia today is a very multicultural society. People like us, IEC students and other expats are very welcomed by Australians. The Rabbit Proof Fence is a powerful and moving book written by Doris Pilkington that tells the extraordinary and fascinating story of her mother, Molly Craig, and her sisters. It is set in 1930s Western Australia. The genre of this book is obviously history. The title "Rabbit Proof Fence" comes from a real fence that stretches across Western Australia that the girls followed to get home.
