Generally, people have always thought that having a college education is a successful path for developing one's life. But what exactly does university education mean? Is it really worth studying at university? Will having a college education really benefit people's lives? According to the online definition, university education is defined as higher education that constitutes “an optional final stage of formal learning that occurs after secondary education.” By definition, we can understand that college education is the highest stage of learning and the final stage of learning before people enter the real adult career society. Furthermore, the important aspect of college education is that it is an optional education for all individual students. So, the debate about whether or not a college education is worth it has started since the arrival of settlers from Europe and is still relevant to this day. In my opinion, the value of higher education means more pay, a better chance of finding a job, meeting more people and ideas, and a better quality of life. Therefore, a college education is obviously important to society and to most people in their lives. The first reason why a college education is necessary is because it can help people achieve a better quality of life in the future, especially for people who were raised by poor families. Since I was a child, many people have always told me that “knowledge can change your destiny. It not only makes you rich in life, but also enriches you as a productive person.” As I understand it, a college education opens a door that can possibly change people's futures as long as they are willing to work hard. So, I've always had a dream of becoming an adult, going to college, and finding... middle of paper... different people and ideas. Besides that, one thing we can't deny is that learning is always worth learning in our life, so why not go to college? Works Cited Anthony P.
