Judaism is one of the largest and most ancient monotheistic religions. It was founded by Abraham in 2500 BC. It is a religion for a Jewish people. Judaism was founded in Mesopotamia. Jews believe that Jesus of Nazareth is their god and there are approximately 14 million people who follow this religion. This religion is mainly widespread in Israel, Europe and the United States of America. The Hebrew Bible also known as Tanakh with Talmud is their sacred text and their original language is Hebrew. The place where Jewish worship takes place is known as a synagogue. According to the Jews, they believe that there is only one god who created nature. They mostly go to temple on Saturday, also known as Shabbat. The three main religious movements followed by Jews are Reform Judaism, Conservative Judaism, and Orthodox Judaism. In Judaism, God's laws are written in the first five books of the Tanakh known as the Torah. The spiritual leader of the Jewish people is the rabbi. The beginning of Judaism is written in the books of Genesis. The history of Judaism originated with Abraham and the Jews. Under God's command, Abraham migrated to the Canaan region and during that time the Jews lived in Egypt, and then after some time they returned to Canaan. This ancient Jewish people were made up of semi-nomadic shepherds and farmers, who lived in Mesopotamia. The history of Judaism has been referred to by some historians as "biblical Judaism". It is a period of time covered by the Tanakh narratives. As we know, the history of Judaism is based on the Hebrew Bible known as the Tanakh, which tells the story of the ancient Jews.
