The job market right now is fierce and competitive. Many jobs require a higher education rather than a high school diploma. With so many places closing, relocating, or simply closing completely, there are fewer jobs and more people competing for those jobs. I personally have had this experience twice. I worked for a plant where I made wheels and the plant closed and I moved to Mexico. Thousands have lost their jobs. I was one of them. This makes going back to school even more important. With my degree and experience, I will be able to find a job in my professional field much easier than I can now. There are more options out there for those with a college degree than those with only a high school diploma. I will be able to be more choosy about where I want to work and compete for higher paying jobs. With higher education and a better job it will help me feel more fulfilled and successful. I will be able to find something that makes me happy and makes me feel good about myself. I will feel like I have the ability to adequately provide for my family and make a difference at the same time
