Professional Career Action Plan The healthcare industry is full of opportunities, and the rapid growth extends beyond medical professionals. An individual considering a career in healthcare must set and achieve goals that are important aspects of life change. Successful careers often begin through adequate training to support individual career goals. An individual should establish an action plan that consists of professional goals that influence decisions in their chosen career, required skills and abilities to improve, the final plan, an organization that offers valuable information, and what strategies used to make these goals evident. Career Goals I would like to pursue a career in healthcare administration which is an ultimate goal to achieve, and from there I would like to work in a hospital environment where I can be of service to a larger population. Another goal I would like to achieve is to earn a master's degree in healthcare administration. Getting a bachelor's degree is necessary for the entry level, but I will need a master's degree that can help me advance in my career and offers opportunities to work in certain areas using this particular degree. I would also like to improve. The career action plan I have outlined provides a strategy that will help steer my chosen career in the right direction by offering assistance in managing my career path. Additionally, it can provide assistance with the skills and knowledge for the job and how to go about achieving them. The framework helps identify strengths and weaknesses, so I can work to make those improvements that need development to enhance my career. Another benefit of using this action plan will help create milestones and deadlines needed to develop skills before success. Additionally, it will help contribute by identifying other options moving forward during this process
