Last year we had guests, our friends from New Jersey came to spend New Year's Eve with us and it was fun, they were supposed to leave on Tuesday but somehow we convinced them to change the flight to Wednesday .I had been meaning to visit Universal Studios since we moved to Los Angeles, but for some reason it didn't happen, so I convinced the whole crew and we went to Universal Studios. It's called Wonderland and we were waiting outside the studio as we arrived ahead of time. I felt it was going to be an eventful day. There was a huge crowd eagerly waiting for the gates to open. I looked at the clock again and realized there were only five minutes left. Car owners struggled to find parking, here and there horns were honked in irritation and some fists were waved in the air. There were numerous foreigners taking pictures of every single thing. Young and old couples smiled. When the clock struck 9, the doors began to open. The crowd was pouring into the studio, looking like a wave of humans moving like a river released. The current was fast. There was gentle pushing, shoving and nudging to move people faster. Angry voices of anti-pushing protection followed by apologies were also heard. We paid the obligatory price at the passage (I did not take into account the amount we paid), the guys took the bill. We chose to take a walk around the site before choosing which rides to ride. Our first stop was Revenge of the Mummy, I would call it one of the most fun yet scary rides of my life. The people on it were shouting and we were thinking about what they were shouting about. One of our companions was convinced that it couldn't be that terrible recognizing that they had been on a sheet of paper more c...... half...... the intelligent waiter at the door greets his customers with a big smile teeth and takes them to their table. It was a crowded place because Americans eat with great passion and certainly more than necessary. I think they think it's a harmless past actually. Any harm they do is to themselves because they clog their arteries with cholesterol. The restaurant looks quite good; there were numerous cousins available. Soon our orders appear; big chunks of chicken, hot and steaming along with some rice, a couple of chicken steaks, rolls and a few drinks. When I got home I felt tired, luckily the next day was a holiday otherwise I would have had to suffer. For me it was fun, crazy fun, remembering my youth, enjoying all day with my relatives and companions. Well, all these moments will never come back, but the memories will always remain in our hearts.
