So he left the tree that had been his home from the beginning and went out into the world to wander. Yes, he was fascinated by the things he saw, but he was dissatisfied, until he found a caterpillar pillar rising into the sky with the top impossible to see. He also wanted to climb up and reach the top of the pillar, and that goal became frustrating. He was eager to reach that goal: the top. Stripe has one goal: to reach the top of the pillar, and this makes him similar to each of us. We have a particular goal in life: to achieve perfect happiness. Just like Stripe, who gets tired of the daily grind, we also get tired of what we keep doing and think there must be something more to life out there. We wanted to go out and discover, discover something interesting, find the most perfect thing that satisfied us. Well, in this case, the most perfect material thing, because once we got that thing, in the end we would still be dissatisfied, just like Stripe when he found things that were fascinating, but at the same time unsatisfactory. The most perfect goal would be perfect happiness, and simply as Stripe thought, we will find perfect happiness up there, up there where we come from, up there where we have always wanted to be: next to God, in the arms that have nourished us from the beginning. So Stripe joined the pillar caterpillar, pushing another caterpillar, trampling another, with that goal in m…… middle of paper……to sing to the sky and achieve the perfect happiness in God that each of us has always desired. The story "Hope in Flowers" shows us that everyone has a specific goal: perfect happiness in heaven. And everyone wants to achieve the goal. But the goal is difficult and each of us has the hope and determination to succeed. Sometimes we try our best to achieve the goal but fail. Every person has different hopes, different ways of solving things, different ways of achieving their goals, but we must realize that there is only one way to achieve the goal of perfect happiness in the arms of the Father and this way is offered from our Redeemer. Hope is here, but the path is not clear, we just have to wait and we will find it. We must follow this path that is offered to us and we will achieve the happiness we have always wanted. In this way our hope will not be wasted.
