How to improve the K-12 education system in the United States of America has been a very controversial issue over the past few decades that has caused much debate and discussion. While researching this topic I discovered a couple of effective ways to improve this system from various publishers and authors explaining the solutions on how we can improve the education system as we can clearly see that other countries' K-12 systems have improved drastically compared to the past years like Canada, France, Austria and Ireland and that America is below average in education. The editors focus primarily on discussing and evaluating important methods for creating a better system in the United States by relating it to the factors and outcomes of the current system. My main goal in this essay is to outline factors on how to improve education by relating them to five different educational sources that I found in different publishers and websites. With this method we can easily identify how each publisher has a different idea about furthering the education of the current generation. The following ways are as follows. Unfortunately, we can see more and more kids begin to fail high school and fail to graduate as the years go by. The percentage has become frightening in the last two years. To be specific, in Arizona itself only seventy percent of people who attend school graduate from high school, and only two-thirds who attend college actually earn a degree (The Arizona Republic). d teacher quality, use of technology, competition, and private and government funding of the education system in America. Therefore I can finally say that these are the most important things needed to have a well-functioning and developed system. This is not an educational issue but a political one that needs to be changed as soon as possible. The United States can no longer lag behind in education, otherwise the percentage of students who fail to graduate from high school and do not attend college will only increase, thus creating a decline in the country's economic status as education is become the weapon and power to the success of any society or community. For example, if you compare major developed countries like Singapore and Japan, you can see that their main goal is to educate their children and the public in order to support a strong background.
