Topic > Values of my high school's Indian and Pakistani club,...

During my high school days I was in a club called Indo-Pak. Indo-Pak is a student-run Indian and Pakistani student organization. There were many different types of groups in the club. We had a board that ran the club. The President, Vice President, Treasury and Executive Council. Those were the people who bossed everyone around and told everyone what to do. If there was anyone who didn't do what they were willing to do, they would get in trouble from one of the board members. Then, we had people who just came to socialize, they didn't care much about the club or the people who were part of it. There were also people who came and cared about the club but were a little shy, so they didn't talk to anyone much but they were still there and helped everyone. My club's norms, values and symbols were dance, music, singing, religion and leadership. Dancing is a very important thing in Bollywood culture, which is the Pakistani and Indian version of Hollywood. Our policies have never been to disrespect anyone or mistreat anyone, regardless of their age or who they are, to be open to all ideas, not to judge and not to bully. Our group values were that everyone was treated equally, no one was left behind. If someone feels they are being mistreated, they would speak up immediately. The club's symbol was the Indian and Pakistani flag combined. In the Pakistani flag, the green represents Islam and the majority of Muslims in Pakistan and the white stripe represents religious minorities and minority religions. In the center, the crescent and star symbolize progress and light respectively. The flag symbolizes Pakistan's commitment to Islam and religious rights... at the center of the card... together. Everyone's minds were united in all decisions. A good personality is very important in groups or sports teams because working as a team and communicating with each other is the only way to improve each other as a society. Formal and informal norms help society stay focused. Without formal laws humans would do whatever they want and the whole world would be a disaster. The government wouldn't care about anyone, people would die and kill each other. Having good behavior goes well with formal norms. Good behavior attracts others and makes them like you more. If you do not have good characteristics, you will not be appreciated by society. Having informal norms is sometimes not so good, but society does it anyway. Bad behavior is considered a bad trait. People with good character usually considered people with formal norms.
