12 Angry Men12 Angry Men is about a group of men appointed as jurors. They are put in a room until they can reach a conclusion on whether or not the boy convicted of murder is guilty. The foreman of the jury no. 1 was sitting at the head of the table. Described as a good leader and thoughtful listener. When there was an argument between the men, it was he who interrupted the discussion and advised them to calm down and talk about it like civilized men. He was a football coach in his early years and his team lost the championship game. He is very organized and even when he needed to vote he counted the votes. Juror no. 2 was a grandfather and the whole idea of the jury was new. He never spoke much, but when he did he was always very perceptive. Even though he starts with the guys being guilty, throughout the hour he was willing to listen to what the others had to say, especially guy #1. 8. He was the one who asked the other men to think more about the crime scene. When Guy#8 reconstructed the scene he was the one who took the time to see how long it took the witness to get to the door and see the boy running. He also studied how the boy used the knife and where he got such a knife. He has a nephew who looks like fat Albert. I had a little argument with guy #1. 10, but I've never had major conflicts with others. As they neared the close of voting, he ended up changing his vote to not guilty. Juror no. 3 you could tell right from the start that he wasn't a very happy man. He talks about how he has three children, but one of them argued with him and left home, never really forgiving him for it. He was the first to say that the boy was guilty. Shown as a very angry, visual and proud man. As things heat up, he clashes with boy #1. 8 and threatens... middle of paper... that many people are capable of killing but few do. Juror no. 12 was the peacemaker of the group. When he sees others arguing, he tries to separate them and solve the problem. He walks around and talks to some jurors, but they all ignore him. His first vote was that the boy was guilty, but after hearing what boy number 8 had to say, he changed his vote. There are many things I learned from this movie, but the main thing I learned is that knowledge is power. It was the men who knew the case and its context who were able to encourage and persuade others to take their side. And the same goes for our class, the person with the most knowledge about the situation or lesson will get a better grade or have more people who want to be on their team. They have the power to change the scene or persuade someone to see it their way.
