High School GraduationDuring the high school graduation ceremony, the moment finally came when all the hard work paid off. Holding my best friend's hand, I have never experienced something so nerve-wracking, yet so exciting. The butterflies in my stomach didn't allow me to concentrate. My heart was pounding, my hands were sweaty but ready to receive my high school diploma. When I finally heard my name called, my family shouted with joy, especially my mother. During that memorable moment, I caught the eye of the people I called my friends. When I was in elementary school, I was the only girl among my peers who struggled a lot in simple subjects like reading, writing, and math. Although I had many resources at school to help me in this struggle, I never found a way to improve and be on the same level as my peers.
