Morality/ethics is the values and rules we use to determine what is right and what is wrong. In this essay, I will show you how these concepts of moral ethics, followed by some factors (such as religion, family, education) can generally determine my view of moral behavior in society and learn the balance between doing the right things and do the right things. /or bad things. Like all human beings, I am imperfect, which means that like everyone I make mistakes. However, as a conscientious moral agent, I consider myself an honest and thoughtful person, generally willing to do the right thing. I'm generally a good person; I morally try to do things for others, as long as I can do it without affecting myself or my family. For example, I dedicate time to the needs of others. But I started to think that I was pleasing everyone too much and I never had time for myself. As soon as I changed my point of view, my moral now is to think about my needs first and then those of others. After finding balance in this matter, I feel more satisfied in life. One of the qualities I admired most in a human being is honesty. I am generally honest with myself, my family, and others. I try to be honest because I want others to be honest with me too. For example, over the time and experience I have gained in life, I have learned a moral way in which I must not lie; it's just about not releasing so many details about me and my personal life. This way I close the door to people asking me personal questions. So I don't have to lie about details I don't want to share. They are generally helpful to others. I think this is one of the main reasons why I chose my major in Human Services. Ever since I was little, people were always looking at me... middle of paper... braid. My moral in spirituality is to go to church and meditate on biblical principles and apply them to my daily life. The moral person I am today has to do with how I grew up. For example, I grew up in a religious family; my father is a very spiritual man, yet my mother did not follow biblical guidelines regarding her wife. For example, she was very disrespectful towards my father. I believe my father's moral principles influenced who I am today. I am the eldest child in my family; I have a brother who followed me and a younger sister. When I was a child I always felt I had a responsibility to care for and protect my brother and sister; this is why I believe I am a very thoughtful person today. I generally consider myself to be a rational, impartial human being willing to do the right things and defend my beliefs.
