Classic elements of romance are incorporated into it: an all-human monster looking for love, traveling to exotic locations, and a plot that weaves together the events of human interactions. Use these elements to suggest an answer to the romantic question: how devastating can the effects of science and reason be on the human condition if they are allowed to progress?
