Essentially, it is based on the simple but true fact that international scholars, especially Indonesian ones, need to be in sync with their surroundings. Synchronization causes people to settle and feel accepted in relation to the new world. Marginson (2010, p. 393) states that foreign students take time to emerge when they first arrive in a new country because people need to adapt language to the cycles of life. For Indonesian students, they usually have difficulty positioning what they want to be, between the old and new personality, confirms Marginson (2010, p.55). To address this problem, Indonesian students are recreating their identities through changing formal roles, personal ties, and social networks (Marginson 2010, p. 55). Therefore, Indonesian students still face problems of adaptation to the environment, but they can solve them because they see that Australia is a multicultural society, containing many differences, and people are taught how to respect differences (Novera 2004, p. 484) .
