In analyzing the results of four different personality tests I discovered not only my personality type, but also my study and time management skills. I have learned that my personality type matches the traits necessary for my desired career in social work. This analysis is helpful in understanding my personality and its relationship to my success in college and in life. The Holland Code test revealed that I am a persuader who helps and organizes; my personality type is Social-Conventional-Entrepreneurial (SCE). This test proved to be mostly accurate. I agree with most of the descriptions for each of the three traits. The highest rated type, the social type, is described as a person whose needs are met in helping or teaching situations, who is inclined to seek close relationships with other people, and is less likely to seek physical or intellectual activities. This is an accurate description of myself. I find that I am most satisfied when I help someone. I like having close relationships with people and I actually feel more comfortable in a few close personal relationships than in many less personal relationships. The second most popular type, the conventional one, may be the most questionable. I really don't like being in a situation, whether personal or professional, that is unstructured or unclear. I like to be aware of my situation and my surroundings, and I feel very uncomfortable when the situation is unclear. While I appreciate structure and order, I'm not one to conform to rules and regulations. I believe these mixed feelings can best be explained such that I much prefer order and structure when I establish them myself, rather than having rules and regulations imposed on me. Third, the Netherlands Code test... paper middle...... and school social worker is a recommended career for my Dutch code, SECIAR. Of course, it's crucial to have a social personality, as social work revolves around helping other people. Social workers must also respond to challenges in a practical, realistic and enthusiastic way. A key role of the child, family and school social worker is to provide help to maximize family well-being and improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families. Common situations that arise for a social worker are cases of adoption, abandonment, abuse, teenage pregnancy and truancy. The ability to provide help based on solid information is of the utmost importance in cases like these. The fact that my personality type involves these characteristics further assures me that I am headed in the right direction for a fulfilling career that will last a lifetime..
