From my experience, I understood that it is possible to understand different aspects regarding a neighborhood or an urban space if you take the time to walk the streets. While walking can be invasive in our daily lives, stopping driving prevents us from experiencing and interacting with society and its many activities. Walking allows the researcher to interact with different people and acquire important knowledge regarding urban space (p. 3). I was able to observe several sociological aspects while walking along the different streets in the area. I was able to understand various aspects of the daily life of the people living in the region. For this reason, I recognize that walking is a viable research method that could help researchers establish evidence to support the relationship between two variables. I realized that walking allows the researcher to have a multisensory experience of the specific urban space. Multisensory experience plays a significant role in promoting understanding of the nature of life in the selected urban space (p. 7). I realized that walking represents a direct testimony of the interactions between people in the world
